PHILIPPINE CUISINE -MIX VEGETABLE - Please click for more detail

I love to try different types of cuisine; today I want to show you something new which is from Philippines, mix veg! Mix veg? Am I kidding? Orch! The dish looks nothing special at all, for me, the cooking method is different from what I use usually. My Filipino helper made this last Tuesday, and I immediately fell in love with this and requested to make one more yesterday.

I have learnt a few dishes from my helpers, and what I understand that Filipino recipes are commonly sweet, spicy, sour, salty or a combination of all of these flavors. In fact, this is healthy if we don't put the deep fried lard. The cooking method of the dish is similar like Pakbet or Pinakbet, which is popular in the Philippines. I like the taste; the tomato gravy is sweet and sour, and I do not feel guilty to have more. :P Trust me, if you are a vegetable lover, you will like to try this. :)
